On the day of Nangula’s husband death from AIDS- related illness, her in – laws arrive to grab her house. This “inheritance grabbing” is common practice in Namibia, when widows can loose all their property on the day of their husband death.
Based on a true story this film is part of a series of participatory films produced during a series of film training workshops with members of NWHN, a support group for women living with HIV in Namibia.
The training project was supported by Salamander Trust and the workshops led by Dominique Chadwick.
